The chest agitator consist of CI main body and CI bearing housing mounted to the main body. An EN-8 shaft on bearings inside the CI bearing housing is the drive shaft of the agitator. At the bearing housing end of the shaft flat belt pulley is provided for driving purpose. The other end of the shaft is provided with an SS 410 / CA 40 casted material. A GM bush and gland arrangement is provided on the main body for proper sealing of the shaft against leakage. A S.S. sleeve bush is provided on the shaft portion, which is coming in contact with the pulp as a measure to avoid corrosion. A MS ring is mounted to the main body which in turn can be fixed in the concrete. The agitator is driven by separately mounted electric motor.
